Maloloina Fitness and Nutrition Program

The Maloloina Fitness and Nutrition Program runs twice on a weekly basis, fitness classes to encourage community health and fitness through exercises.

Seniors Programme

The Seniors Program is a free program held every Friday which brings the seniors in our community together to run light exercising activities (balancing exercises, Zumba etc.) and other socializing activities.

We also have guest speakers from different professional backgrounds come in every week to talk to the group. Lunch is provided every week for the seniors.

Emergency Housing Navigator Support Service

This Ministry of Social Development funded service is delivered in partnership with the Pacific Trust Otago to support Pacific families that are facing barriers securing suitable housing.

MSD is committed to championing Pacific prosperity and is partnering with PTO in piloting a mobile Navigator Housing Support role targeting Pacific people living in Dunedin and Balclutha. The Pacific population is changing rapidly in the Southern region as more Pacific people relocate to this area and there structural issues and system failures that need to be addressed. The priority group is the low income Pacific peoples living in Dunedin or Balclutha who are struggling to find suitable housing, they may be homeless or living in overcrowded houses with other family.
